In order to accommodate schools that can’t travel, or those distance learning, Heal the Bay will continue to offer our Virtual Field Trip experience, which covers all the same topics as our In-Person programming and last for 1 hour. When: Monday – Friday, 9:30-11:30am & 12-2pm Virtual Field Trips Lessons and activities support Next Generation Science Standards, Ocean and Environmental Literacy Principles, and a student-centered approach to science instruction. Aquarium Science Field TripsĮach 2-hour, in-person field trip experience involves touch tank exploration in our gallery, a brief lesson based on your chosen topic, and an outdoor beach exploration or beach clean-up (with waivers signed). Heal the Bay Aquarium offers one-of-a-kind field trips, and they can be booked online easily. Our 2022-2023 field trip bookings are open, and our morning spots are filling up fast!
